Knit for Food Knit-a-thon is a 12 hour knitting marathon to raise funds and awareness for food insecurity. The money we raise will be equally divided between Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry, and Meals on Wheels.

In 2021 the knit a thon raised $265,810!!
In 2022 they raised $271,761!!
That means knitters raised over half a million dollars with our knitting needles!! Can you even believe that?! We are joining this year in hopes of making an impact with our needles and hooks.

There are two ways to support the Knit-a-thon: You can sign up to knit/craft for 12 hours OR you can donate!
Scan the QR Code at the front desk to contribute to the Avenue Yarns Knit a Thon team. We are commited to knitting ALL DAY!

We would absolutely love it if you spread the word and forwarded the link on to friends and family. We understand that not everyone is in a place to donate money during these times of rising food costs, but spreading the word about the campaign is just as powerful towards the goal of ending hunger.
