(Ranunculus in Mojave, Tussah Tweed, and a worsted merino. All lovely.)
The gorgeous picture of that bright yellow Ranunculus in Kelbourne Woolens' Mojave yarn (a cotton/linen blend), which came to my inbox via Kelbourne Woolens' newsletter, is what did it. I've had the pattern, by Midori Hirose, in my Ravelry queue for a long time. Finally, I knew that my Ranunculus would be a summer top, in a light, summery yarn.
Ranunculus has 2127 projects listed (most with photos) on Ravelry. I filtered this list by looking for yarns that included cotton, linen, mohair, or alpaca and/or in lace or fingering weights. In perusing just the first 5 pages of the results, just LOOK at all the yarns here at Avenue Yarns we have to choose from!
