Prerequisites: This is an intermediate class, you should already know how to cast on, knit, and purl

Altering Knit and Crochet Patterns for Size, Gauge, or Style It can be hard to find just the right knitting or crochet pattern to fit your yarn, body, and fashion sense. We will go through common alterations including working in the round, changing stitch gauge and row gauge, adding or altering waist shaping, calculating rates of shaping for curves and slanted edges to adjust armholes and necklines, and changing the size of a pattern both in an easy way with limited usage, and more thoroughly. This class will be useful for anyone who knits or crochets garments or accessories, including those using handspun yarn.

Materials: optional: pattern(s) that you would like to alter.
