Fog City Hat Class
Be introduced to a new technique that is easy and very interesting while learning how to make this hat.
Yarn needed for a hat: 2 skeins of MC and 1 skein of CC (includes yarn for a class swatch)
"Fog City" pattern purchased through ravelry.com or through store
Sincere Sheep Covet DK (60% Wool, 25% Alpaca, 15% Silk; DK weight: 150 yd/ 137 m per 1.98 oz/56 g skein); MC: Bare Grey; 1 (1, 2, 2) skeins CC: Cumulus; 1 skein for all sizes
US 6/4.0 mm 16-inch/41-cm circular needle
US 4/3.5 mm 16-inch/41-cm circular needle, or needle two sizes smaller than gauge needle
Tapestry needle, stitch markers
20 sts x 28 rnds = 4 inches/10 cm in Stockinette stitch on larger needle, after blocking
With MC and US 6 (or changed needle to get the gauge) CO 34 sts
*Knit one row, purl one row; repeat from * 3 more times ending with WS (purl) row.
