Hybrid Crochet: Rediscovered Stitches 
Hybrid crochet shares elements of both crochet and knitting, and creates a myriad of fascinating textures. Now that you know the basics,  you’ll explore wearable fabrics and learn three new-to-you stitches (Tunisian weave stitch, heart bobble stitch, and Tunisian column stitch) that will help you begin a shawlette.

Materials: 210 yds yards smooth worsted weight yarn (we recommend Malabrigo Rios and sample was made with 2 skeins), size H or I Tunisian crochet hook, darning needle, 5 removable stitch markers.

You should be familiar with and able to work:

Tunisian knit stitch

Tunisian simple stitch

Homework:

Create a Tunisian knit stitch swatch - 15 sts wide, 15sts long, in worsted weight yarn using a H or I hook.
