Learn to knit the beautiful Tori Lace Cowl and learn to work with lace charts at the same time. Once you understand the chart, you can knit this cowl with any yarn and any size. Fixing mistakes in lace knitting can be challenging because of the combination of decreases, increases and yarn overs. Afterthis class, you will be able to fix all your lace mistakes! - Worsted- to aran-weight yarn that is smooth and of a solid light color (this will make it easier to see and work the lace stitches) Our pink sample was knitted with Debbie Bliss Falkland Aran, and used about 1 and a quarter skeins. For longer cowl, you will need approximately 270 yards. For a shorter cowl, you will need approximately 100 yards.
- Needles in the size appropriate for your yarn. For the longer cowl you will need a 24” long circular needle. For the shorter cowl, you will need a 16” long circular needle.
- One ring stitch marker and several locking stitch markers.
