Tukuwool's story is all about the love of wool and a passion to create a Finnish yarn in a rich palette of colors to play with.
Tukuwool is designed in Jyväskylä (see above) and the yarn is spun in Mikkeli (southeast of Jyväskylä) and dyed in Hämeenkyrö (southwest of Jyväskylä ). 100 % Finnish wool is the soul of the yarn.

Take a look at some of the colors' names English translations:
sake (Japanese booze!)
raku (japanese ceramic)
polte burning sensation
kimo grey (as a horse, not the color)
empi (empiä would mean hesitate…)
aava open sea
We love that we can wrap ourselves in a calm and shy dream or read a glowing poem with someone…. as we knit.
