Knits for Kids (and you) in Avenue's Kid-Friendly Yarn Sale

Hello Avenuevians!

Have you been taking advantage of the gorgeous yarns at great prices during out Winter Is Coming sale?  This second week of July, the sale is on select Kid-Friendly yarns.

Just so you know, I'm going to show you some of these amazing yarns--all ON SALE this week at 50% off.  In between, I'll link to some great patterns that you can make with the yarns.  It's a win all around.

Any new babies in your life?  Toddlers who already know how fun it is to dress up?  How about a Baby Poncho! Best Aunt Molly recommends Hooded Poncho by Bernat Studio

You could have a lot of fun with CoBaSi (Cotton-Bamboo-Silk) solids or tonals for those stripes.  Check out Festival Sweater by Petite Knits, or Bean & Olive by Andrea Mowry. Click through these links to see these faces!

Rowan Cotton Cashmere is somewhere between kid friendly and luxury, lusciously soft, and also washable!

For baby and kid things, start with Little Rowan Dudes Pattern Book, also 50% off at Avenue. But don't stop there.  Anker's Summer Shirt by Petite Knit is a great way to knit this yummy yarn in a Mommy & Me combo.

Got an older kid to knit for?  A middle schooler who wants to impress when school starts up again?  Check out this Wool and the Gang Tina Tape yarn that's perfect for cool layers.  Love the Thing pulli by Wool and the Gang is a great place to start.  Yes, you can knit for yourself with this yarn too.  Try the very popular (and quick) Deschain by Leila Raven.

Now's the time to buy these and more wonderful yarns.  Winter is Coming, and gift giving is more fun when you've made it yourself (and saved a bunch!)
