We are transitioning to a new teacher. Classes will resume Thursday, May 2 with Gem as the teacher.

Class is from 4 to 5:30 pm

If no one has showed up for class by 4:20 pm, the class will be cancelled for that day. Please be respectful of the teacher's time.

Kids Crafting:

We are very excited to announce the return of Kids Crafting to Avenue Yarns. We welcome Haley Pollock as our new kids crafting instructor. Children ages 7+ can come and learn how to knit, crochet, or finger knit. Or work on a project they have already started. Knitting and crochet are great ways to learn hand eye coordination skills, make cool projects and make new friends.

Supplies to get you started are available for purchase or you can bring your own!

Haley has been doing fiber arts since she was ten years old and has been teaching children in classrooms since 2001. Teaching at Avenue Yarns combines her fiber arts skills with her teaching background in a fun, creative, no pressure environment. She is hopeful that classes will inspire a lifelong love of fiber arts and gift each student with the practical arts of knitting, crochet, and more.

 Here are the details of our new kids crafting program.

What: One and a half hour group sessions in our classroom with Haley working on knitting, crocheting, finger knitting, even macrame. 

Who: Children ages 7+

When: Wednesday and Thursday 4:00-5:30 PM

5 class pass (punch card) $110
