Merino Silk is a luxurious blend of soft 21 micron non-superwash merino and mulberry silk.  With a high silk content of 40%, the yarn has a beautiful sheen and drape.  Colors are soft, muted and absolutely dreamy on this yarn base.  The 60% non-superwash merino gives it perfect warmth and elasticity for shape retention, and is so soft next to skin.

The yarn is in a round and bouncy 4-ply construction, so stitch definition is great.  This yarn is perfect for shawls, garments and anything that needs a refined, soft hand.
