Embroidered Illustrations - Customizing Fabric with Color and Texture:

We all love graphic prints, and its extra fun to customize them with embroidered details, highlighting your favorite parts of the illustration.

Learn some basic stitches including satin stitch, woven roses, and French knots to color in line drawings on fabric. 

Materials: 

For class you can bring in a graphic print on woven fabric, purchase a Dawn Kathryn Studios screenprinted project bag from Avenue Yarns or Kira, or practice on provided fabric. Kira will have embroidery kits available if you don't have the other supplies already, with options priced at $10 for a basic kit or $25 for one with additional tools. 

Kits will be available for purchase at beginning of class
